Port Vue UMC is actively seeking responsible persons (adult or youth 15 years old & up) for the positions of Church Nursery Child Care Worker. 

Child Care Worker needs are for our Sunday services, could be needed for our Wednesday service, along with other church programs. Required holidays/special events are Ash Wednesday Service, Maundy Thursday Service, Good Friday Service, Thanksgiving Eve Service, Christmas Eve Service. 

Act 33, Act 34 and FBI Fingerprint Clearances are required and can be paid for by the church.

CPR certification is preferred, but can be obtained within 3 months date if hire.

Applications will be available in the Church Office or by email request to Church Office. Turn completed applications into the church office, fax or email.

Our PVUMC Preschool will be accepting new registrations for the 2021-2022 school year starting March 15 for our church members.  Your child must be 3 or 4 years old by September 1^st to qualify for the program. Classes are as follows: 3 yr old class [Tues/Thurs]- 4 yr old class [Mon/Wed/Fri] –morning classes [9:30-noon]/afternoon classes[1:00 -3:30]. Open enrollment to the public will not begin until March 31^st. Registration forms will be available at the church office or you can download a registration form below and turn it in at the church office – 8:00-12:00 – Mon.-Thurs. Please return form and registration fee by March 26. There will be a $40 registration nonrefundable fee.
